Dr. Arup Roy Choudhury is a distinguished public sector leader with a proven track record in transforming and leading some of India's premier enterprises, including NTPC, NBCC, and Damodar Valley Corporation. He is widely recognized for revitalizing NBCC into a high-performing Navratna company and driving major capacity expansion at NTPC, adding over 15,000 MW during his tenure. The youngest CMD of a Central Public Sector Enterprise at age 44, he has also served as Chairman of SCOPE and Vice Chair of the World Energy Council (Asia-Pacific & South Asia). An alumnus of BIT Mesra and IIT Delhi, he has received numerous national and international honors, including recognition as “Asian CEO of the Year.” He is also the author of Management by Idiots and Riding Two Tigers, sharing his insights on leadership, governance, and organizational transformation.
Mr. Shyamrup Roy Choudhury is a dynamic entrepreneur and business leader with over 16 years of experience across real estate, infrastructure, financial services, and investment management. As the Founder of Foresight Group, True Habitat, and Aura, he has led the development of landmark projects across NCR and played a key role in pioneering luxury real estate ventures in Dubai. An ET Young Leaders 2024 award recipient, he is also a Founding Partner at Spectra 7 Holdings, a multi-family office with transactions exceeding $30 billion. His professional journey includes leadership roles at Adani Realty, Mumbai International Airport, and Ernst & Young, where he advised and managed large-scale development and investment initiatives. In addition, he actively mentors and invests in high-growth startups across India and the Middle East.
